CRDF Global is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes safety, security, and sustainability through international development and foreign assistance missions in over 120 countries is looking for Senior Manager. The Senior Manager managed the Operations Support function within the East Europe and Eurasia Hub, including Grant, Procurement and the Travel and Logistics Divisions and is responsible for the people, internal platforms, policies and procedures necessary to provide operational support from a regional base in close coordination and alignment with the corporate Operations Support functions. Major Responsibilities:
Oversees the EE/EU Operations Support team, playing a leading role in the development and operation of the team working within CRDF’s overall Operations Support function to:
set goals and objectives for the division that are in alignment with organizational goals; recruits, hires, onboards staff; manages professional development, training and job performance; co-ordinate division activity, managing staff resources to ensure that activities are executed on schedule and budget with the highest levels of quality and compliance ensuring staff resources are allocated appropriately and that division activities are carried out consistently.
Responsible for division financial performance: supports the development of overall annual budgets, oversees division financial expenditures, establishes division performance metrics and benchmarks, and meets performance targets. Coordinates with organizational counterparts to maintain collaborative working relationships, determine future resource requirements and to provide advice, counsel and support on division best practices. Provides direct support to more complex / higher risk projects and activities including conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and assisting in data management activities. Develops and implements policy and procedural improvements that will improve the efficiency or effectiveness of department or organizational operations, including review of policies and procedures, internal management systems and onboarding and professional development. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
8+ years work experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience in a project or program management environment (particularly related to grant making, travel and logistics management and procurement programs). Training in finance, accounting or equivalent work experience. Six years work experience in an international organization. Experience of US Federal Assistance programmes highly preferred. Customer service experience and effective communication skills, including experience working with international partners in challenging geographic areas and across organizations. Ability to utilize MS Excel and to prepare detailed financial reports and statistical analysis. Highly organized, with strong critical thinking, analysis and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work independently and to adapt quickly to new challenges Willing and able to travel internationally and domestically.
